No, not really

I'm not a website designer, really I'm not.
Nor am I a web hosting outfit. I know the evidence stacks against me here too.
I suppose at a stretch, I could be a web developer. I almost was, in a previous life. It's a skill I have, but not one I use very much.

And yet, here follows a list of web sites that, despite all my protestations above, I appear to have designed and developed, and am now hosting.

• Gîte Lavandula, Auriol
  This is a commercial website for the Gîte that Peter and Cécile Dumont-Syryn run in Auriol, near to Marseille. The site contains information about their three holiday apartments, availability and booking forms, and some information about and photos of the surrounding area, Les Calanques de Provence, Cassis and the Mediterranean.
• Risdon's Wisdom
  This is a very simple site to showcase the cartooning talent of Manchester's only Mr Tony Risdon. Navigate through the cartoons, and leave a message in the guest book.
• Great Ayton Community Web
  This is a feature-packed site for the residents of and visitors to the village of Great Ayton in North Yorkshire. For the residents, there are detailed publications by the Parish Council, links to local amenities, and a discussion forum. For visitors there is information about the attractions of the village, the history (with plenty of Captain James Cook related information) and maps and directions. I'm particularly proud of the Great Ayton Map page, which will hopefully soon include pegs for local landmarks.
• Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum
  The real website is sadly offline at the moment, presumably because no one is paying the hosting bills. Well, Rob to the rescue, I'm happy to host it, but the challenge is getting hold of the domain name. The process has started, and hopefully it won't take too long.
  
• Rob Holden, Siebel Consultant
  It has to be included, dispite its very limited information. It contains, in total, a business card and a downloadable CV. Exciting stuff.
• crispbox
  A relatively sparse personal site. If I have a random piece of information that needs publishing, then I'll probably put it somewhere here. There's not much of note there at the moment.
• holdenzone
  Domain for sale! I bought holdenzone.com and holdenzone.co.uk with grand plans... but did nothing. If you're interested, drop me a line. I'm not expecting the names to raise millions!
  

If you are expecting a sales pitch, then I think you might be a bit disappointed. In order to engage me to design, develop and host your website, you first need to engage either my sympathy for your project, or my sense of challenge. If you think it can't be done, and I think it's a challenge, I might be interested just for the hell of it.

By the way, the server all of these sites runs on is provided by the exceptionally helpful, extraordinarily reasonably-priced, very friendly people at , based in New Zealand. I cannot recommend these people highly enough.
